Wedding tips: 7 details you should remember before you say your “I do”
- June 20, 2016
In the hustle and bustle of wedding preparations, the endless tasks at stake, and the overwhelming excitement for the big day, it is clearly impossible for any bride not to omit a few last-minute details or tips that could help save some situations, if not the whole day. Even if you’re a superwoman (which we believe all women are by default), here are some wedding tips worth remembering before you walk down that aisle.
1-Drink lots of water
The more and earlier you hydrate your body before the wedding day, the more your skin will glow and the higher your energy level will be. A completely natural solution for the most radiating look!
2-Get that beauty sleep!
Nothing replaces a good night rest when the sought result is fresh face, a boosted immunity, a kicking energy, and a glowing skin. Try to have this 8-hour sleep the night before your big day; you don’t want those eye bags showing in your wedding pictures!
3-Avoid sugar, salt, and alcohol
Needless to remind you that sugar and alcohol have harmful effects on your immunity and your energy level, while salt doesn’t help much with the puffy part. Try to avoid them as much as possible before your wedding day – after that, you definitely deserve an all-you-can-eat celebration week.
4-Prep your skin for the big day
Whether you like makeup or not, you’re going to wear a pretty major amount of it on your wedding day. Preparing your skin for that by exfoliating and moisturizing it the night before is a good idea.
5-Don’t forget to eat
Do not make the mistake of skipping your breakfast or staying long hours without any food intake on your wedding day. Even if you cannot have a seated decent meal, you can absolutely not leave your stomach empty on such a day. Make sure to carry some energetic snacks like protein bars that will boost your energy and help you get through the day!
6-Anticipate the honeymoon packing
You’re probably all focused on your big day and not really thinking about what’s coming next. Packing in advance for your honeymoon might seem a little bit precocious, but it would actually allow you to take your time and enjoy choosing the best outfits and looks for a honeymoon you will never want to forget.
7-Write your thank-you notes
If you’re planning to send your guests and everyone who helped in organizing your wedding thank-you notes, you would even surprise them if you send those nice notes real quick. Preparing them in advance will save you time and make you look really awesome!
