Cannes Film Festival is back on with its 75th version after being cancelled in 2020 and restricted in 2021 due to COVID. Now that the world is beginning to go back to normal and we’re starting to have meets and greets again, we’re getting blessed with exclusive red carpet looks and I’m here for it! So ladies, are you ready to break down all the looks for Cannes Film Festival 2022 and we’re going to show you similar styles available at Esposa Prive stores.
First things first, what’s Cannes festival? It’s an International film festival held annually in Cannes, France, usually in May. Founded in 1946, the event is held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès with invitations-only attendees. Now that let’s get the good part of why I’m that excited. RED. CARPET. LOOKS!!
Eva Longoria
As expected, we’ve got a few hits and misses on the red carpet this year. But the main color we’ve seen is the color black! So let’s start with my personal favorite look, Eva Longoria.
The beautiful Desperate Housewives star stunned in an Alberta Ferreti chiffon evening dress with thin spaghetti straps. The overall look is stunning and shows off her style and glam in a sheer gown with ruffles and floral appliqué with shining crystals.

Julianne Moore
Next on the blacklist is Julianne Moore who looked breathtaking and chic in a Bottega Veneta A-line evening gown. The look is very simple and put together with a plunging V-neckline and a voluminous skirt.

I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite look, but overall it’s well put together with the statement jewelry piece and the pop of color. Speaking of pop of color, let’s talk about Aishwarya Rai’s attire!

Aishwarya Rai
The Indian actress and Miss World 1994 chose to stand out in a Dolce and Gabbana black ballgown with accent 3D floral designs. The colorful flowers are dispersed over one shoulder and the opposite side of the skirt. One shoulder is decorated with a bouquet-like voluminous sleeves for extra spark!

Adriana Lima
First and foremost, can we take a moment to appreciate how stunning is this momma-to-be? Staying true to the black attire, the Brazilian model and actress decided to put her baby-bump on full display at the festival. She went for a Balmain gown with long sleeves and a cut-out just at the center of the dress to show her growing bump. She’s sporting a side slit for a small peek-a-boo and long-veiled sleeves.

Elle Fanning
The 24-year-old American actress chose an Armani fit-and-flare evening dress with a strapless straight across neckline that flares out just at the top of the thighs. The dress gives her an angelic look with glittery details and a corset that cinches her in. Even though the dress is a hit for me, I personally think that a different color would have complimented her skin more!

The peach color washes her out a bit as she already has a pink undertone to her skin and her strawberry blonde hair.
Lashana Lynch
The ‘No Time to Die’ actress joined her fellow colleagues in a high-neck FENDI Couture gown featuring intricate patterns with beads. Lashana added a tiny pop of color with emerald earrings to elevate the look.

The white dress featured a sexy touch with side slit on both sides, and cut-out under the arms. Next on the list is the Lebanese journalist Raya Abirached!
Raya Abirached
Raya decided to stay true to her roots and wear a Georges Hobeika Couture strapless gown with with silver beading and crystals. It’s fully decorated with patterns all over the blue soft fabric. The dress looked absolutely stunning and flattering on her body cinching in her waist and showcasing her femininity. The sparkles matched the diamond jewelry she paired it with, adding a bold lip and nails of dark burgundy color.
