The long awaited moment has finally arrived! Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot in a weekend celebration in Georgia. The pair finally got married at their home in Riceboro, Georgia, on the Hampton Island preserve outside of Savannah. According to Vogue, the bride had a very specific vision on how the wedding weekend will go down, starting with a rehearsal dinner on Friday night. Now that the Marry Me star has finally done it, everybody wants to see one thing only, or should we say three things: Jennifer Lopez wedding dresses. Yes, we did say wedding dresses because one gown is not enough to celebrate Bennifer’s love, obviously!

On Saturday August 20th, 2022, the blushing bride walked down the aisle to her beaux, with their friends, families and loved-ones. JLo wore her first of three custom made wedding gowns by Ralph Lauren, giving her subscribers a small sneak peek through her On The JLo newsletter.
1- Behind JLo’s first bridal look!
The beautiful bride chose three different custom made Ralph Lauren wedding dresses to wear for her celebrations. During the ceremony, she went with an elaborate gown designed with over 1,000 handkerchiefs and 500 meters of fabric. A reimagined turtle neck column dress with a dramatic ruffled skirt and an open-back draped from the back of the turtle neck to the shoulder. The materials were cut precisely to create the long train of ruffles. The singer chose to walk down the aisle in a more traditional fit, pairing it with a cathedral veil and a slicked-back hairstyle. To tight the look together, she wore dainty earring and a soft smokey eye look!
The 45-minute ceremony took place under a white metal framework, created for the occasion especially. After the ceremony, all the attendees wearing white gathered for a cocktail reception before moving to the barn for the wedding dinner.
2- Bringing the heat back with the second look!
Though JLo decided to keep it simple and traditional in her first appearance, she made sure to bring the heat back! She chose a sexy fitted gown for her next look, also by her favorite designer, Ralph Lauren. A thirty hands-on-deck, and over 700 hours of craftsmanship were required to hand-sew Jennifer’s gown. Embellished with thousands of cascading strings of pearls, Swarovski crystals and a delicate silk tulle. Lopez chose not to wear a veil with this look, and kept the all-over attire elegant and classy. A look that channeled Old Hollywood with its body-hugging silhouette, decorated from head-to-toe pearls!
3- A signature JLo look!
As if two wedding gowns were not enough, the show-stopping bride changed for the third time, into a custom made gown by Ralph Lauren. This one though is a signature JLo look as it’s a mermaid creation that showed off her curves and femininity! A mermaid style gown with a keyhole neckline design on the chest, embellished with Swarovski crystals and a full skirt draped in organza. The stunning back featured a twisted back trap design, fully embedded with Swarovski crystals.
A glimpse into Bennifer’s!
A love story that spans more than 20 years, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck met on set in 2001 while filming the movie Gigli. Ben later proposed to Jen in November 2002 but were due to get married in September 2003. Due to the excessive media attention, the couple postponed their wedding and officially parted ways in January 2004. Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Garner and JLo married Marc Anthony. When those relationships ended, they both went on to dating other people, but eventually found their way back to each other in April of 2021.
Jennifer wrote in her On the JLo newsletter: “Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive though in Las Vegas at twelve thirty in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through, with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with. Love is a great thing, maybe the best things – and worth waiting for”.
