Kristie Romanos: The Designer, the Wife, and the Mother

I should say, becoming a successful career woman was the biggest accomplishment I could wish for, until I met my life partner. Things got quite unexpected after that. From being the designer behind EsposaCouture, I also became the wife and later, the mother. Today, this is what feels like a real achievement: succeeding at being a mother and a career woman and finding the ideal work-life balance.

What I learned during this new phase of my life is that it’s all about redefining my priorities and knowing what I want. What mattered the most to me was to never lose passion and motivation. Even if the chores and responsibilities multiplied, I did not want that to stop me from staying the passionate and talented EsposaCouture designer while being the loving wife and mother.

To make that happen, I learned I had to accept change and adapt to my new life by letting some old habits go and embracing new ones. I learned that the key was to be organized and focus on a plan that would allow me to have the perfect balance between profession and parenthood. What I most importantly learned is that finding the right partner and having a family could not be an obstacle for a woman’s ambition. Having a family is my greatest source of strength and energy, and what motivates me to become the best version of myself and a role model to everyone around me. Today, I’m proud to be Kristie Romanos the wife, the mother, and the designer behind EsposaCouture, who has never been more inspired to put her unconditional love in every dress and creation and to prepare every bride-to-be to become a wonderful wife and mother.
