Mona Kattan wedding dresses from Esposa Privé!

Check out Mona Kattan wedding dresses that stole the show! The Iraqi-American beauty entrepreneur, Mona Kattan said Yes to Hassan Elamin after announcing her engagement back in December 2021. The sister of the beauty guru Huda Kattan, founder of HudaBeauty, wore a stunning Vera Wang wedding gown. Mona visited Esposa Privé in Dubai where she tried on different dresses, but chose that one dress that brought her to tear during her fitting!

The Dubai-based couple tied the knot at Raffles The Palm Dubai in a dreamy celebration. She chose not one, but two different dresses from Esposa Privé. For the ceremony, she went with an elaborated ivory gown, paired with a tiara that she loved during her fitting. Attached to Vera Wang mermaid gown,  a handmade Esposacouture over-skirt and veil, designed especially for Kattan. The haute couture off-skirt, delicately crafted with different sizes of pearls and crystals, adding a feminine touch to this bridal look! However for her Katb Kteb, she chose a french lace figure-hugging gown and a beaded handmade belt from Esposacouture by Kristie Romanos.

Mona revealed in an interview that the proposal caught her off guard while dining at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort. Her fiancé was adamant on having an al fresco dinner under the stars.  In the middle of slow dancing, he got on one knee and popped the question!

She reminisces on the event and calls it very romantic and cheesy, exactly what she likes!  Soon after her engagement she went wedding dress shopping with her sisters. They initially chose a magical Zuhair Murad dress, then she decided to visit Esposa where she fell in love! In her video posted on her YouTube channel, she tried on a bunch of bridal gowns and teared up while admiring THE ONE!

Wedding Preparations amidst Covid

HudaBeauty's sister, Mona talked in her vlog about how stressed she was as she was still recovering from Covid. Her wedding preparations had to take a backseat due to her sickness, making her nervous and giddy at the same time. Aside from documenting her wedding dress shopping experience, she took to her Instagram stories and updated her followers with every step! She posted a story with Hindash, a Dubai-based makeup artist, who kept her makeup simple and elegant.

As for her special wedding date, she disclosed that it has a special meaning. The couple initially wanted to have a big ceremony, but settled for a downsized union due to Covid restrictions. Mona said that her feng shui consultant suggested February 22, 2022. Since she loves special dates and numbers, her heart was set on that day for her wedding!
